“So, what’s your handicap?”
“Oh, I don’t know… probably about 22 from these tees.”
“These are the forward tees, dude. I’m a 12 from the back tees, probably less from here, so you’re asking for at least 5 shots a side.”
“Sounds good to me.”
“Don’t you belong to a golf club? They must keep a handicap for you there.”
“Uh, yeah, but it’s ’way easier than this course. My index is 17.2 there. It’d be higher here for sure.
“Well, let’s check. I’ve got my iPhone here and we’ll see what your handicap is from these tees with a 17.2 index… Oh, looks like 17, and it looks like I’m an 11.”
“Are you sure that thing is accurate?”
“Yep. Accurate and it handles playing handicaps for any course and any tees I play. Today, it’s 3 shots a side. Your honor, your honor.”
